Lloyd G. Copeman promoter of the Halpin Well on Baldwin Road in Hadley Township, 1935. Lloyd is in the short coat with his hat raised. Bacon and eggs were cooked on the natural gas found at the well. It was the first natural gas found in Lapeer County.
